It’s the human stuff that matters most because it’s humans that buy (or if you’re doing it wrong, don’t buy) your products and services.

It’s humans that act on irrational and unconscious thought. They decide what’s worthy of fame. They remember a brand because it did something different, or made them smile, or had a point of view.

And unless you’re a maniacal powermonger who has automated your entire workforce*, it’s humans that add the special sauce inside your company that then oozes out into the things that customers see and experience. 

So if you don’t give enough attention to the human half of things, your brand (and therefore your business) is going to suffer.
